Professional Oven Repair in Humble, TX
Pies burning on the edges and raw in the middle? An oven that never reaches the set heat? We fix gas and electric ovens in Humble, TX. Wall ovens and freestanding models are both welcome. Our techs are licensed and insured. Decide to repair and the $79 diagnostic goes away.
Oven failures we see most
The bake element wears out after years of high heat. You may spot a bubble or a crack along the coil. The broil element at the top can fail in the same way. Gas ovens depend on a hot surface igniter. As it ages, it glows but no longer opens the gas valve. A sensor that reads wrong makes cakes sink and cookies scorch. A loose door hinge lets heat escape along the top.
What we do at your oven
Our tech heats the oven and checks it with a separate thermometer. Next we put a meter on the elements, igniter and sensor. The sensor is the thin rod at the back of the oven. We also check the door gasket for gaps. Your quote is fixed and spoken out loud first. Elements and igniters are quick, sensible fixes. An old oven that needs a hard to find board may be ready for replacement.
An oil town since 1904
Oil was struck in Humble in 1904. By 1905 the Humble oilfield was the top producing field in Texas. In 1911 the Humble Oil and Refining Company was formed here. That company later became part of Exxon. The Humble Museum on Higgins Street tells that story today. The ovens we fix in Humble kitchens run on gas or electric power, not crude. When an oven runs cold, we test it and get it back to the right heat.
.avif)
Humble cooks usually call about the oven when a big meal is coming. A roast stays pink or bread browns on one side only. Some families lean on the microwave for days. Our tech pinpoints the dead part, fits a new one and bakes a test run with a thermometer inside.
We repair wall ovens, range ovens and built-in ovens from all major brands. An oven that will not heat, heats unevenly or has a door that will not seal is the usual call. We find the cause, quote a fixed price, and get it baking right again. We are licensed and insured, and we explain every step.
