We repair Garland Master Series heavy-duty ranges, including Master Sentry models. We also fix Garland MCO convection ovens, griddles, broilers, dual-platen clamshell grills, induction units and countertop gear. Gas and electric models are covered. We service Garland's sister brands US Range and Sunfire as well.
Garland's history goes back to the 1800s. It became a Welbilt brand, and Welbilt is now part of Ali Group. The Master Series is Garland's modular heavy-duty line. Sentry protection is an option on its open burners.
Range burner won't light. On a gas Garland range, check the pilot first. A weak pilot flame, a clogged pilot orifice or a bad thermocouple is the usual cause. The thermocouple is a small sensor that proves the pilot is lit. On Sentry models, the safety system shuts gas off if it can't sense a flame. That is by design.
Uneven flame or yellow tips. Burner ports clog with boil-overs and grease. The flame turns lazy and cooks slow. A deep clean often fixes it.
Range oven running cold. Garland range-base ovens use natural convection with no fan. So a cold oven points to the thermostat, the safety valve or the oven pilot.
Convection oven cooking uneven. On a Garland convection oven, the blower motor moves hot air across every rack. If that motor is worn or its wheel has come loose, you get pale spots. An oven that won't heat at all gets a check of its igniter, gas valve and door switch.
Griddle hot and cold spots. A Garland griddle with one cold zone often has a clogged burner or a failing thermostat on that section. Electric griddles may have a burned-out element. Warped plates can also cause uneven heat after years of cold water hitting a hot surface.
Grill or broiler slow. On a Garland grill, burners, igniters and platen heat controls wear with daily use. On a clamshell grill, the upper platen lifts and lowers all day. Its hinge and lift parts wear too.
Induction unit won't heat. Induction heats the pan, not the surface. If the pan isn't magnetic, nothing happens. If the pan is right and it still won't heat, we test the power board and cooling fan.
A range out on a Friday means the line is short a station. We do same-day visits on most Garland calls, and calling at open helps.
The tech checks gas flow, flame and controls, then tells you the fault. The commercial diagnostic is $149. Approve the Garland repair and we waive that charge. A fixed price comes before we start.
Every part we fit is genuine OEM. If one must be ordered, the tech sets the next visit before leaving. Garland jobs go to techs with a license, insurance and a background check. Our repair warranty backs what we fix.
Yes, in most kitchens. A Garland range is a steel box with valves, burners and pilots. Almost every part can be swapped. We see old Garland ranges still earning their keep on busy lines.
Replacement makes sense when the body is rusted through, the oven liner has failed or you need a different setup. We'll give you the repair price and tell you what we see.
Our techs repair Garland equipment in D.C., Houston, Chicago, Northern Virginia, Los Angeles and Pasadena. Houston kitchens can see our Houston repair page. Tell us your model and the problem when you call, and we will try to bring the right parts.
Don't wait until that small issue becomes a major headache. Reach out to us now and let us bring your home appliance back to top performance!
