Dryer is making noise or vibrating

There are a few possible causes for a dryer to make noise or vibrate. One is that the drum bearing is worn out. The drum bearing supports the back of the drum and allows it to rotate smoothly. Over time, this bearing can become worn, causing the drum to wobble and produce a banging noise.  Finally, if the dryer’s belt is loose or damaged, it can cause the dryer to vibrate. Another possibility is that the dryer belt is loose or broken. The belt helps to rotate the drum, and if it's not working properly, it can cause the dryer to make noise or vibrate. Finally, a build-up of lint in the dryer vent can also cause noise or vibration. Lint can block the air flow, which can cause the dryer to work harder and make noise.

Dryer is not turning on

One of the most common reasons a dryer won't turn on is because it isn't receiving any power. Check to be sure that the dryer is plugged into an outlet and that the outlet has power. Another possibility is that a fuse has blown or a circuit breaker has tripped. If this is the case, reset the fuse or breaker and try again. It's also possible that the start switch is defective. If pressing the start switch doesn't do anything, it will need to be replaced. In rare cases, the problem may lie within the thermal fuse. This safety device prevents the dryer from overheating, and if it has blown, the dryer won't turn on.

Dryer is not heating

If your clothes dryer is not heating up, there are several possible causes. The most common cause is a buildup of lint in the lint trap or vent. This can block air from flowing freely, causing the dryer to overheat and trip the thermal fuse. Another possible cause is a faulty heating element. If this component is not working properly, it will not be able to generate enough heat to dry your clothes. In some cases, a broken belt can also prevent the dryer from heating up. If this is the case, you will need to replace the belt. Lastly, a clogged vent can also cause your dryer to overheat and shut off. If you suspect that your vent is blocked, you should have it cleaned as soon as possible.

Dryer is not drying clothes

One of the most annoying things that can happen when you are doing laundry is when your dryer is not doing what it is meant to do, dry your clothes. There can be a number of reasons for this problem. The most common cause is that the lint trap is full. Lint can build up over time, and if it isn't removed, it can block the airflow, causing the clothes to take longer to dry. Another possible cause is that the vent is blocked. The vent should be cleaned out regularly to prevent a build-up of lint and debris. If it isn't, then the air flow will be restricted, and the clothes will take longer to dry. Finally, if the heating element is damaged, then it won't be able to generate enough heat required for proper drying.
