What Cove dishwasher repair covers

We repair Cove dishwashers in both 24 inch and 60 cm widths, panel-ready or with a stainless panel. Water left in the tub and leaks under the door are the top faults. Wet dishes, poor cleaning and dead controls come next. We test the pump, valves, sensors and board before naming a part.

Cove is the dishwasher brand of the Sub-Zero Group, the maker of Sub-Zero and Wolf. It came to market in 2019. It has hidden controls and an LED-lit tub.

Common Cove problems and causes

Standing water is the top call. Most often, old food has packed the Cove filter under the lower rack. If the filter is clean, the drain pump may be jammed or failing. A kinked drain hose under the sink can do it too.

Leaks at the door often mean a worn door gasket, the rubber seal around the tub. Leaks under the unit are more often a loose hose or a cracked part near the pump. Many dishwashers have a float or sensor in the base that stops the cycle when it finds water there.

Dishes that come out wet may point at a failed heater or a rinse aid dispenser that is empty or stuck. Gritty glasses usually mean a blocked spray arm or low water fill from a weak inlet valve.

Control and connection faults

The controls are hidden from view, and steam and moisture can reach them over time. If the panel will not respond or shows lights in a strange pattern, we test the control board and the ribbon cable to it. Cove also offers Wi-Fi control from a phone. A lost connection is often a router issue, not a broken dishwasher.

How we run a Cove visit

Many homes get us the same day, and an early call makes that more likely. The tech tests the dishwasher and shows you the fault.

The home diagnostic is $79. It goes away when you approve the repair. Your price is fixed and agreed up front.

We use genuine OEM Cove parts. When a part must be ordered, we put your return date on the calendar while still in your kitchen. A background check, a license and insurance are required for every tech on our team. Our repair warranty covers the job.

What you can try at home

Rinse the filter once a week if you run a lot of loads. Fill the rinse aid when the light comes on. Spin each spray arm by hand to make sure it moves freely and its holes are clear.

If water sits in the tub, check the sink drain and the disposal. A new disposal with its knockout plug still in place will stop drain water cold. If none of that helps, turn off the power at the breaker and give us a call.

Should you fix a Cove dishwasher?

Yes, for nearly every fault. Cove is a young brand, so units are still new by dishwasher standards. Swapping a pump, valve, gasket or board is a small bill next to a whole new dishwasher.

Panel-ready models also carry your cabinet front. Moving that panel to a new brand may not line up. Sub-Zero Group sold Cove with a five-year warranty on parts and service, so check that first on a newer unit.
