Wolf cooking gear we fix
We repair Wolf gas and dual fuel ranges, rangetops, gas and induction cooktops, and M Series and E Series wall ovens. We also fix warming drawers, speed ovens and vent hoods. Wolf has been part of the Sub-Zero Group since 2000. So if your kitchen has both, one tech can look at the whole set.
Two design features shape most of our Wolf work. The first is the dual-stacked sealed burner. It has an upper ring for high heat and a lower ring for a true simmer. The second is the dual convection oven. Wolf's Dual VertiFlow system uses fans to move heat evenly across the racks. Both are great to cook on. Both have parts that wear.
Common Wolf range and oven problems
Burner keeps clicking. A spark igniter that won't stop means moisture got in, or a burner cap is off center. It can also be a failing spark module, the box that sends the spark. A boil-over is the usual trigger. Let it dry for a day first. If it still clicks, call us.
Burner won't light or won't hold a simmer. On a dual-stacked burner, the lower ring can clog with food. Then the simmer flame dies and the burner relights over and over. We clean the ports and check the gas valve.
Oven heats slowly or unevenly. On dual fuel models, look at the bake element or the convection fan motor. On gas ovens, a weak igniter is the classic cause. It glows orange, yet it never gets hot enough for the Wolf gas valve to open.
Touch screen is dead or shows a fault. The M Series and E Series ovens run on a control board and a touch panel. A power surge or a failed relay can knock them out.
Warming drawer stays cold. Usually a heating element or a thermostat.

Should I repair my old Wolf range?
For most Wolf ranges, repair wins. These are heavy, well built units. The frame, oven cavity and burner grates rarely fail. What fails are the small parts: igniters, spark modules, fan motors, elements and boards. Those are fixable.
A new pro range also brings hidden costs. You may need a new gas line fitting, a new hood match, or cabinet trim changes. That pushes most owners toward a repair.
Where we would think twice is heavy rust in the oven cavity or a cracked cooktop surface on an older induction unit. In those cases we will price both paths and let you choose.
Wolf warming drawers, hoods and induction tops
Warming drawers seem simple, and mostly they are. When one stops heating, we test the element and the thermostat. When it heats but won't hold a set temp, the control is the usual cause. See our Wolf warming drawer repair page.
Wolf hoods pull a lot of air. Grease on the baffle filters slows them down and makes the motor strain. Clean the filters in the dishwasher every month or so. If the fan still hums without spinning, the motor or its capacitor may be done.
Wolf induction cooktops use magnets to heat the pan directly. If a zone won't start, test with a pan a fridge magnet sticks to. If the pan is fine, the power board or the coil under that zone is the likely fault.
