Kalamazoo makes one pizza oven, the Artisan Fire. It sits on a counter and burns gas. Think of it as two ovens working on one pie.
The lower burner heats the baking stone from below. The upper burner sends flame across the roof of the oven. Each has its own knob. The cook sets them apart to match the dough. Kalamazoo says the burners can take the oven to 800 degrees, and a thin pie is done in about two minutes.

Give the oven a fair preheat before you judge it. Kalamazoo quotes about 20 minutes. If it needs 40 on a mild day, something is wrong.
Each burner has an igniter beside it. Flour is the enemy here. It drifts off the peel, burns to a crust and covers the igniter tip. Rain and salt air add rust. We clean the tip, check the gap and test the spark.
No spark on either burner points upstream. The battery or power feed for the ignition may be dead, or the module has failed. No gas sound at all points to the valve or the supply.
If the Artisan Fire burner lights, then dies as you let go of the knob, the flame sensor is not doing its part. This probe sits in the fire and holds the gas valve open. Soot makes it read cold. Age wears it out.
We clean the probe and test how much signal it makes. If it is weak, we fit a new one. If the probe is good, the safety valve it feeds is next on the list.
Baking stones crack from shock. Cold dough on a very hot stone is fine. A wet rag or a splash of water is not. A cracked stone that sits flat can stay. Loose pieces should be replaced so they do not block the lower flame.
The oven is open at the front, so wind matters. A strong cross wind can pull heat off the stone and tip the flame. If results change from day to day, note the wind. It may not be a fault at all.
Water is the other weather problem. A cover keeps rain out of the burners. If the oven sat open through a storm, run it on low for a half hour to dry it before you cook.
Look at the gas first. A propane tank can feel heavy and still be near empty in cold weather. Make sure both knobs turn fully. Brush the stone when it is cool. Look into each burner with a light and check for webs. Spiders like gas tubes.

This oven is a block of welded stainless steel with a few gas parts in it. Igniters, probes, valves, burners and stones can all be changed. Nothing about it wears out as a whole.
