KitchenAid builds freestanding and slide-in ranges. Fuel choices are gas, radiant electric, induction and dual fuel. A dual fuel range cooks with flame up top and bakes with electric heat. There is a double oven dual fuel model too.
The slide-in line includes an induction range with air fry. It also includes an electric downdraft range. That one pulls steam down through a vent in the top.
Most ovens in these ranges use Even-Heat True Convection. Many clean with AquaLift, a low heat cycle that uses water.
Gas burners fail in small ways. Clicking with no flame comes from a blocked port or a bad electrode. A burner that lights then makes a weak yellow flame has a clogged cap or wrong air mix. All burners clicking at once points to a wet spark switch. We clean, test and replace only the part that failed.
On a radiant glass top, a single cold zone traces to its element or its switch. A zone stuck on high is a switch fault. The hot surface light can also stay lit from a failed limiter.
On the induction range, zones need magnetic pans. If the right pan still will not heat, the coil and the power board both get tested. Touch controls that ignore your finger often need a new panel.

On a dual fuel range we test both the gas side and the 240 volt side. Each has its own supply.
The electric downdraft range has a blower under the cooktop. Its filter loads with grease. Its motor sits low, where spills can reach it. A loud or weak vent is usually the filter or the motor. We pull the unit forward to reach the blower box.
A+ sends a tech out for $79 to a home. That pays for the testing. Next comes a set price for the full range job, with labor and parts both counted. When you approve it, the $79 is taken off. Someone answers daily from 6 AM, with 9 PM as the cutoff, and a visit on the day of your call is common. Every tech is background checked and holds a license and insurance.
