AGA sells two dishwashers in the US. One wears the Mercury look and one wears the Elise look. Both are 24 inches wide and sit under the counter. The front panel comes in the same colors as the ranges. That color match is the whole point of buying one. It is also why a repair beats a swap in most kitchens. This is the call we get most on an AGA dishwasher. Start with the AGA filter, down in the tub floor. Give it a twist, lift it and rinse it at the sink. Food, glass chips and labels collect there. With a clean filter and a wet tub, the AGA drain pump is next. A cherry pit or a chip of bone will jam its tiny impeller. Sometimes the pump motor has just worn out.
The drain hose matters too. It should loop up high under the sink before it drops. If it sags, dirty sink water runs back into the tub. Was a new disposal just fitted? Its knockout plug may still be in place, and that blocks the dishwasher drain fully.
A dishwasher needs hot water, spray and time. Lose one and the dishes show it.
A puddle at the front often comes from the door gasket. Wipe it and look for a tear or a flat spot. Too much soap makes suds that push past a good seal, so check that first. A leak under the unit points to the pump seal or a hose clamp.
If the machine will not start at all, the door latch is a common cause. The control will not run until it sees the latch close. A control panel that lights but will not take a press may have a failed touch board. We test these parts before we quote, so you only pay for what failed.
