LG says PF means power to the range was cut. It clears when you press a key. The rest need testing.
LG gas ranges have sealed burners. The big one is the UltraHeat burner. It puts out far more heat than the others. Its head has many ports, and a boil over can fill them.
We lift the cap and head and clean each port. We check the electrode gap and the spark wire. If every burner clicks, a spark switch has shorted. Those switches sit on the valve stems behind the knobs.
LG radiant tops have single, dual and triple elements. A triple element has three rings. One ring can fail while the others work. The element under the glass is replaced as one piece.
LG also sells induction ranges. These heat the pan through a magnetic field. A zone that will not start may just have the wrong pan on it. If a good pan fails, we test the coil and its board. A cracked glass top on either type means a new glass.
Many LG ranges use ProBake Convection. The heat comes from the back wall with a fan. InstaView models light the window when you knock twice.
In a gas oven, slow preheat nearly always means a tired igniter. In an electric oven, we check the rear and broil elements. A bad temperature sensor throws off both types. Double oven slide-in models have two of everything, so we test the upper and lower cavity one at a time.
LG makes a dual fuel slide-in range. Flame cooks on the surface while electric elements heat the oven. That means a gas line and a 240 volt circuit. A dead oven with working burners on one of these is often an electric supply fault. We check the outlet and breaker before parts.
Let wet burner parts dry, then set them back flat. Check the breaker and the gas shutoff. Turn off the control lock. If the knock light fails, try a firmer double knock near the center of the glass.
