Fulgor keeps its dishwasher line small. All models are 24 inches wide and built in. Some take a custom cabinet panel. Others have a stainless steel front. On the 700 series, the touch controls hide along the top edge of its door. Fulgor gives it a 42 dBA rating, which is very quiet. It holds 15 place settings and has a third rack on top. It lists eight wash cycles, a flow-through heater and a three-way filter.
The quiet part matters for repair. You may not hear it fail. Many owners first notice a puddle or dirty glasses. We are an independent company that repairs Fulgor Milano appliances in homes.
The top Fulgor complaint is an inch of water left after the cycle. The filter is where to start. Pull it up from the tub floor. It traps food, glass chips and jar labels. Rinse it and try a short cycle.
If the water is still there, we go to the drain pump. One olive pit or bone chip can lock its little impeller. You hear the motor hum while the water stays put. We clear it or replace the pump. We also check the drain hose for a kink behind the unit. If a disposal was just installed, its knockout plug may still be in and blocking the drain.
Water has to reach every rack. With a third rack, there are three levels to feed. Spray arm holes clog with seeds and scale. We pull the arms and clear them. If the arms are clean, we test the wash pump. A weak pump gives a soft spray that cannot lift dried food. Low fill is another cause. The inlet valve screen may be packed with grit.
This model heats water as it flows past a heater in the pump path. If that heater fails, the last rinse is cool. Cool dishes do not dry. Check the rinse aid first. An empty dispenser is the cheap answer. After that we test the heater and the rest of the drying system. Plastic items stay damp in any dishwasher. That part is normal.
A leak at the front is often the door gasket. It hardens and cracks at the lower corners. A leak under the unit points at a pump seal or a hose clamp. Hand dish soap, or too much detergent, foams up and seeps out at the door. If the door will not latch, the cycle will not start. We replace the latch and its switch as one part.
Touch controls on the door edge sit close to steam. Water can get into the panel over time. Keys stop working or the unit starts by itself. We test the panel and the main board. A power surge can also take out the board.
