Lynx sells more than one outdoor fridge. The Professional line has a 24 inch door model, a slim 15 inch model and one with a glass door. There is a two-drawer fridge and a combo unit with a fridge and a freezer. A beverage dispenser holds a keg and takes a single or double tap tower. There is also a wine cellar and an ice machine.

Set a glass of water on the Lynx fridge's middle shelf and stand a kitchen thermometer in it. Leave it for a day with the door shut. Air temperature jumps each time you open the door. Water shows what the food really feels.
If the water reads 40 or lower, the fridge is fine. The door may just be opened too often during a party. If it reads 45 or more, keep reading.
We work down that list with a meter and a thermometer. Most warm Lynx units are fixed by the third line.
Lettuce that freezes at the back means the control is set too low or the sensor is off. The range on the 24 inch model goes down to 34 degrees. That is close to freezing, and the back wall runs colder than the display shows.
Heavy frost on the back wall is a moisture problem. Check that the drawers or door close fully. Bottles pushed against the back can also block the air and ice up. We defrost the coil, find the cause and test the defrost parts.
The blue inside lights are a Lynx signature. When they go dark, the fault is the light strip, the door switch or the power to them. If the lights stay on with the door shut, the switch has stuck. That adds heat and should be fixed.
The door lock can seize from rain and salt air. A little dry lube helps. Drawer slides get gritty outdoors. We clean or replace them and reset the drawer so its gasket sits flat.
On the beverage dispenser, foamy beer is usually not a cooling fault. The line in the tower may be warm, or the gas pressure may be wrong. We check cabinet temperature first and then the tower.
The ice machine needs a drain. Lynx offers a drain pump for islands with no floor drain. If water pools in the bin or under the unit, that pump or its hose is the first thing we test.
