Appliance Repair in Ravenswood, Chicago for Flats and Coach Houses
Ravenswood homes range from greystones and two flats to coach houses and condos. Many got their kitchens and laundry long after they were built. That makes appliance repair in Ravenswood, Chicago a job of small rooms and added hookups. Our tech comes ready for both, with a drop cloth and a light for the dark spots behind the unit.
Stacked Laundry and Tight Kitchens
Laundry here is often a stacked pair tucked in a closet. A slim kitchen with the fridge pushed into a corner is just as common. We work in place and move units only as far as needed. If the dryer takes too long, we check the vent as well as the heat source. If the washer will not spin, we test the lid switch, belt and motor in turn.
Brands and Units on Our List
We fix fridges, freezers, ranges, ovens, cooktops, dishwashers, microwaves, range hoods, washers and dryers. GE, Whirlpool, Bosch, LG, Samsung and Miele are all familiar to us. If you have a wine cooler in a condo, we fix that too. The van is stocked with parts for routine fixes, so many repairs end in a single visit.
Converted condos sometimes mix old plumbing with new units. A leak under a dishwasher may come from the drain line, not the machine. We trace it to the source before we quote.
Price, Hours and Booking
Finding the fault costs $79. Go ahead with the fix and we take that off. You see a fixed price before anything starts. Same-day slots are often open, and we answer from 6am right through to 9pm daily. Book online or call. Each repair comes with our repair warranty, and the techs are licensed and insured, too.
Appliance repair in Ravenswood's courtyard buildings and coach houses
Vintage courtyard apartment buildings, greystones, two- and three-flats, Victorian and Prairie School houses, coach houses and converted condos: that is the housing in Ravenswood, most of it built out between Damen, Berteau, Clark and Ainslie after the Ravenswood Land Company bought 194 acres here in 1868. Almost none of it was built with a dishwasher or a dryer in mind, so the hookups are retrofits, the kitchens are tight and the laundry is often stacked. We repair units in place and quote a fixed price before touching anything.
The Brown Line and Metra's Union Pacific North Line both stop here, and our technicians come up from 2701 S Indiana Ave, with the Deagan factory tower on Ravenswood Avenue as an easy landmark. Same-day appointments are available. The $79 diagnostic is waived when we do the repair. Call (312) 600-6540, 6am to 9pm, seven days a week.
