Burke and Burke Centre Repairs
Burke is named for Silas Burke, who built a house near Pohick Creek around 1824. In the 1950s the land here was picked for a second big airport. That plan moved to Dulles, and the land became Burke Lake Park and Burke Centre. Nearly half of Burke's homes went up in the 1970s.
